Intel Says No to Vista

This summer, Intel announced that it would not be installing Windows Vista on its internal computers. 

According to sources at Intel, they plan on sticking with Windows XP internally until Microsoft releases the next version of Windows (Windows 7).  Intel, along with thousands of organizations, have found no convincing reason to upgrade from Windows XP.

So, if a parent calls to complain about your school being behind the times by continuing to use XP (yes, it happened recently at my school), site this story to assist you in explaining that upgrading to the latest Operating System is not always the best or wisest move.
